Cultivating Creativity

The Young Artist Award is the nation’s most prestigious colouring contest for children presented by Faber-Castell. The contest aims to cultivate creativity in Malaysia’s young talents by providing them invaluable knowledge and learning throughout the program’s journey. Participants will have the exclusive privilege of joining virtual workshops, whereby art experts will impart their wisdom in mini ‘masterclasses’ utilising a holistic syllabus of learning.

And Colourful World
The theme of the contest, Better World, Better Me, has been chosen to promote and encourage children to use their artwork to creatively express their thoughts on increasing efforts to protect and preserve the precious global environment. At the same time, they will also learn more about sustainable practices and efforts through the concepts featured in the colouring sheets.

Contest Timeline
You can register and submit your artwork for the first round beginning from 1st August 2021 till 30th September 2021. After three rounds, the Young Artist Award winner will be announced in December 2021 during the awards ceremony.
Submission Dates
1st round: 1st August - 30th September
2nd round: 1st November - 5th November
3rd round: 1st December - 7th December
